Q: After you get married, are you going to have pets?
A: It's a subject open to debate. Julie wants a fish, but only if Jed will clean out the bowl (as she is afraid of dropping it.) TBD, I suppose. [jed edit: According to section 11 of our rental contract, the fish must be actually be approved by Rodney Harms]

Q: Julie, is your dad going to marry y'all?
A: no, no. it doesn't seem to be in the realm of possibility.

Q: You're wedding is at 9.15 in the morning?!?!? are y'all crazy?!
A: yes, and Probably.

Q: Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A: cancun! yay!
however, julie is worried about getting sunburned.

Q: Where are you going to live after you get married?
A: right here in peoria. we arent going anywhere. arent you glad?

Q: Julie, are you aware that jed is only as tall as you, and maybe even a little shorter if he embraces his inner bad posture? are you okay with this?
A: generally speaking, i have come to accept it.

Q: What is with the whole St. Louis thing going on here? it's so weird!
A: short answer #1 = jed proposed to julie in st. louis.
short answer #2 = jed loves the st. louis cardinals, almost more than julie, but not quite.
long answer # 1 = somehow, in Julie's mind, the giraffe thing fits perfectly well with world's fair type things. Seeing that we are reception-izing at northwoods, with lots of windows, only confirmed this connection. She is aware that it makes no sense to the naked eye, but if you think about it long enough, and have a glass of wine, it might start to make sense to you as well.

Q: What are you going to name your first child?
A: again, TBD, for goodness sakes. but we do expect to have one, (both a first child, and so on, and names for them all.)

Q: Jed, where did you meet such a great girl?
A: at church, which is the best place to meet someone if you aren't into the whole lets-hang-out-at-the-bar-until-i-find-someone-to-hook-up-with thing. i also recommend this.

Q: What took you two so long to get together when everyone could see it was only a matter of time?
A: What can we say? the first step to overcoming any problem is acknowledging that you're in denial.
